Ipaq Gps?

I have been thinking of picking up a GPS for some time. But, I am poor .. anyway. I have been trying to figure out how to use my Ipaq rx3715 for gps.. I would like to make it so I can have two mounts..one in the truck, the other on the bike.. Do I need a gps reciever? like a compact flash one? I would love to not have to "add" extra shite to the handheld.. i would like to keep it as small as possible..

Or does anyone want to trade a like new rx3715 for a Gps unit?

You missed out on the Mio C310x sales by a month or so. They were going for $200. I got mine for $180. Not the top of the line, but works extremely well for what it is.

Like you I considered using my iPaq as a GPS, but spent the money on a dedicated unit instead (probably withstands the bumps of the roads better).

Check out this site for some ways to get navigation on your iPaq: buy GPS Now, Bluetooth GPS, Pocket PC Navigation, PDA GPS

Ipaq Gps?

Does that IPAQ have bluetooth? If so I recommend the Holux GR-236 GPS receiver... It's worked flawlessly with my old HP and my current Dell PDA... I use it with IGuidance mapping software from INAV...

Good luck...

Mike
