Anybody been to Utah?

I have to go there next week for work, to learn how to administer the computer program we use in the office. I'll be staying in Logan, which is about 1 1/2 hours from Salt lake City.

Any "dont miss" sites I should be looking for? Secret strip clubs, places to find multiple wives?

If there's ANY way possible you can pull it off, take off for a couple days & drive down to Moab. I'm still trying to figure out when I'll be able to get back out there & get access to two wheels while i'm out there.... especially dirt, it's a friggin Mecca for off-road enthusiasts as much as it is for hikers. The place is just amazing.

... Moab may not be a strip club, but it's still got mountains, valleys, canyons & weird shapes you never thought possible.

I've been there... I would suggest Alta, Snowbird, and Park City for spring skiing... but I guess that isn't any good to you now.

The wife's family is from the Provo area..

I have family in Park City and go twice a year for the Outdoor Retailer show now.

theres some nice canyon roads if you can get your hands on a bike.

Theres some nice driving if thats' all you can do.

There are some really shady places in SLC, but thats it.

Salt Lake City Strip Club Guide

Go to Squatters pub for a Brew pub and grub

Been to Utah a few times, never Logan though. +1 in Moab, it's a cool town, with a cool vibe and spectacular scenery.

SLC is not my scene, kinda weird town, but the canyons nearby are nice.

If you can make a side trip to Zion National Park, You'll not regret it. Sadly, both Zion and Moab are pretty far from Logan.

Well, I'm here in Logan, Utah, and one thing keeps going through my head....I wish I had my f'n dirtbike!

Strange, but very friendly, people out here. Its beautiful country, I've not seen anything like it before.

Strangers out west are vastly more friendly than strangers here. We are so uptight here.

Hope you get to explore. Might as well add Idaho and Wyoming to the states you've been in while you're there, too. They are so close by. How far is Yellowstone? Thinking <3 hours drive.

yes didn't think of Jackson / Yellowstone.

Less than 3.5 hours from Logan. Check the weather report because often it could be still be snowing in the passes this time of year.

Well, it doesn't look as though I'll get to see much of Utah since my boss has the keys to the rental car, and doesn't seem keen on going anywhere. I considered renting my own damn car, but its supposed to rain the rest of the week, so screw it. I'll come back, with my dirt bike.

Went hiking last night in some of the local caves...I'll pose up some pics this weekend when I get home. Utah rocks.

That's too bad. Whenever I have to travel, I explore constantly in my free time.

No chance to take an afternoon trip out through Sage and Kemmerer to Flaming Gorge Reservoir? I always meant to see Flaming Gorge and never did... Suposed to be gorgeous.

I just checked the maps, but it looks like Moab is too far away, but they have amazing rock formation and it is open to hiking. I had a scorpion run across my foot there...shiver.
