... and you thought this thread would die...

In addition to several above, I would like to add one more driving example:

- People that block business entry/exits while waiting for a traffic light. They see the light is red, but instead of leaving an open 10 feet of space, they pull right in front of the driveway. So now, if you're trying to get into or out of that business, you have to sit and wait for the traffic light as well, generally making even more of a traffic mess.

And this is not a "peeve" as much as a public service announcement...

- Learn the difference between HAZARDS or Flashers... and a Turn Signal.

A Turn Signal... now stay with me here... is to let people you know you are going to be making a TURN! If you are stopped or stopping on the side of a road for some reason... please put your Hazards on.

NOTE: this is another reason why all bikes should come with hazards... but unfortunately do not, so we are stuck using a blinker even if we aren't moving. Personally, if I'm on the bike I do everything possible to get completely off the road by turning down a side street or a driveway. There are too many distracted drivers out there to leave yourself so vulnerable. If there are idiots out there hitting cops on the side of the road... when the big blue lights are flashing... your little blinker is probably not going to get noticed.

OK... I'm done.

When its a 2 lane road but no line in the middle and people think its a BIG lane and float all over the place and then get pissed off when you squeeze past them.
