...a windshield for a chop-top pickup truck? I have an '80 C10 that has a chopped top, and the existing windshield is cracked. Had a f'n auto glass guy come to do it on the side, and he cracked BOTH used windshields I bought($150 down the drain). Guess he never did that type of thing.

Anyone know of a auto glass place in the Boston area that does stuff like this?

If you're looking for any kind of close up pictures of the glass, don't have...just some crappy pictures of the truck since it's in a warehouse right now. Not registered yet, still doing the interior/stereo/glass before it can go on the road.

I would try calling the biggest ad in the phone book. There are very few shops that make glass. If they don't they should be able to direct you to someone who does.

That's a good idea I actually didn't even think of. I haven't opened a physical phone book in so long since I'm always looking on the net...I was looking online and didn't see a ton of shops come up. I did get a PM sending me to someone local, I'm going to check them out today.

I know Arlington Auto Glass on Dudley st used to. They had a rack of templates for all sorts of old cars. The old timer that used to own it, passed the shop on to one of his employees a few years ago. I have no idea if they still do it, but they are worth a shot.
