Just spent a week and a half driving this:

Went out to Vegas to get hitched... Managed to sweet-talk my way into an upgrade of the Charger we had rented. 5.7liter V8, 340HP. My expectations were kind of low, so I was somewhat impressed. It handled pretty well:

Well, all except for one day when I was driving this. Driving it was kind of like riding a drunk albatross:

Pretty rad trip. saw some SICK sportbike roads... you know it's getting good when you see a sign that says S-curves next 37 miles... seriously. No side roads, no cops.

I had a 2.7 liter Charger as a rental on a business trip and I thought it was a piece of shit. The engine was way under powered for a car of its size.

I also had a new ford Edge as a rental and was quite impressed with its power and handling. It's no sports car but it does have some balls.

the 2.7 liter charger blows, I drove one from Atlanta to Nashua and it sucked. I wouldn't take regular gas, it shifts way too often and it is super loud.

I had an edge two weeks ago and I thought that blew too, it was slower than the mini van I rented 3 weeks ago. I had an escape last week and thought that was pretty good. This week I have a liberty and it fucking blows. Yay traveling every week.

That's funny because about 3 months ago I had an Escape and didn't like it as much as the Edge. My jury is still out on the CVT transmission it has. The Edge I had was decked out and I beat the shit out of it and had a great time doing it!

I'll be in PA this coming week but I don't know what I'll have yet. What ever it is, I plan on beating it too!

At least we both agree that the 2.7 Charger blows!

I dunno the edge was so fucking slow it killed me, I would floor it and it took about 10 seconds to get to fifty, I had a pimped out edge and escape and I thought the escape was much nicer. The liberty really really blows, its so jerky and the shift from first to second feels like the tranny is going to fall out. The seabrings drive nice but are too grandma ish

Congratulations, that is a very nice picture of you and your wife.

Oh and I'm jealous...I love the Charger. Drove one to Quebec about a year ago, I had this huge grin on my face the whole time.

Haaaaaaah. Yeah, nobody even got wedding pics until we got back from the trip... even though I had my camera, laptop AND was sending pics of the cars the whole time. At least the wife knew what she was getting into

Couple more shots from the trip:
Two days in and I still have a little grease under my fingernails. Classy. At least none of them were black or missing.

Wedding gift frome the old lady. Something I'd never buy for myself. She's the best:

Highway 395 at 3:00AM... I sat out there for 20 frickin minutes waiting for this truck to roll by and ended up catching a shooting star in the process. Amazing.

Tioga Pass, Yosemite. No Guard rails

The Calypso Tumblers rule. Had seen them in Washington Sq Park, NYC... they were in Venice while we were there. that dude is built like a fire hydrant:

Alcatraz... wish I had more time to shoot photos in there. It's almost impossible to frame a shot without getting 10 tourists in it:
