Mrs has a new ride.. girly car content

She had initally planned on getting the IS250 awd, but ended up not liking it when she drove it. Found this car a few weeks later and fell in love with it.. so I helped her out a bit on the purchase.

I would have much rathered the 250, but damn... this thing is so smooth and whisper quite. Seats are lifted out of the LS430, heated and cooled, vsc, trac, dual climate control, power sun shades, all sorts of useless features. It's a 2005 btw.

I had already wanted a Lexus for my next daily when I finish paying offthe Evo early next year, but this car may solidify my decision to put a GS or a IS350 in the garage late next year.

Very nice -

I like the new design. It doesn't look as much like a camry now.

The new design is something I don't necessarily consider to be an exclusive girl car at this time.

The 350 is almost something I'd consider if I couldn't step into an LS.

How do you know what I do (that's a curiosity question, not an attacking question)?

yeah, I've had a few big purchases of the past year - Evo, House, now the Lexus.. however, I am very reasonable and systematic with my money to prevent over spending and it's worked well. I've gotten a method in place where I have not been in a situation in 3 years where I've said, "shit, I don't have enough money to pay this bill." I never force anything and whenever I do buy something big I always ALWAYS think worse case scenario.. what if I lose my job, what if I the motor grenades in the car, etc etc. I'll never put myself in a position that I cannot get out of or reasonably requires me to borrow money.

Well, I think there were a few factors. First she really didn't like the sales guy and I admittedly wanted to go across the table and strangle him at one point (basically said we had no intention of buying a car and questioned whether I could even afford it=instant loss of sale in my book). But the other thing was, she said it just didn't "feel right" to her... so, no forcing your way around that.

Oops, lol, it was supposed to read: "I don't even know what he does." haha.

I read bump's comment where he said he didn't want your job, just your salary, so I assumed he knew what you did. So then I was supposed to say "I don't even know what he does."

I guess I don't type as fast as I think... or I'm really as dumb as I look.

So... what is it that you do anyway?

Oh, trust me.... I need to re-read everything I type 4 or 5 times because I never get it right the first time.

Project Manager for some pretty hefty IT stuff. One of my bigger projects right now is a team of 70 and roughly $3million in computer hardware that processes in excess of $6billion in business... as one of the execs said to me, "this will be fun, don't fuck it up".

The stuff I bolded when put together makes me laugh a little, but I'm easily amused by... oh hey... a shiny pen... oh that's my pen. What was I saying? Oh right, nice car!
