Okay, sorry I noticed this thread so late, but I really wish you'd managed to get a picture of the look on her face when you chose the bike over her.

This issue is actually a bit of a sore spot for me because one of my best friends, who used to be my most reliable riding buddy and once told me to beat some sense into him if he ever considered selling his bike over a girl, met a girl he got all googly-eyed over and ultimately sold his bike. He insists that it wasn't because of her, but I don't believe him because he let it slip once that she would get really upset whenever he talked about going for a ride.

Luckily he's beginning to come to his senses and is talking about getting another bike as soon as his finances allow. Dumbass should never have sold his bike in the first place.
