Anyone looking for a nice wooden swing set? I've had one (came with my house) for a few years and I'm sick of looking at it. We don't have kids and don't intend to. If anyone wants it your welcome to it. It has 2 swings and another long plastic swingy thing, a twistie slide and a raised platform covered by a roof with those reddish colored builders shingles. The guy we bought the house from was a custom builder and he built the swing set to match the house. If your interested PM me and i'll send you some pics. The things gotta be worth 5 or 6 hundred bucks. I just want it out of my yard to make way for a killer fire pit!! I'd hate to just scrap the wood.

Where are you located? I'd like to see some pics please....we left the one we bought when we sold the house. we had paid over $2000 for the thing. My girls miss their swings...

Yip, I'm guessing it's worth quite a bit. If it's 'custom' and built right, it's probably worth a coupla grand. No shit, those things aren't cheap. The kit one we bought a coupla years ago was like, $1500. And those are actually cheap as hell. I put another coupla hundred $$ into it in hardware alone just to be on the safe side...

You oughta take some pics and put it up on Craig's list or some shit. I'd bet you can get some decent loot for it...

I never really knew how expensive they are, I was just taking a guess. Degsy is mulling the decision with his wife whether or not he wants it. I just wanted someone to come get it out of my yard, that to me is worth the price of the set.
