My wife and I are looking for a house in Texas and its such a pain in the ass...We both have different tastes and all I ask for is a garage and a place to sleep....But she wants a massive 4 bedroom house when theres only two of us...I hate growing up...

Not for a few more years I wanna be higher ranking in the army before I have kids and I want my wife to be at her job for awhile until its comfortable for her to take time off for that. Plus we're both only 21 too young for that right now we still are a crazy couple

Well since im planning on making the army a career we decided Texas was one of the better bases to stay at for awhile plus the houses arnt bad at all and a lot cheaper than other places I was looking at getting stationed...I would love to be closer to home but the only active army base around MA is NY Fort Drum and its cold as hell up there...I almost spent my whole life in MA dealing with the cold I like Texas and the warm weather...more time to riiiiiiide

I was in texas for a few months before coming to iraq doing some training....and after being here in iraq for 15 months 100 feels like paradise to me. We'll see how the wifey likes it considering I really dont have a say in anything anymore.....

Yeah I drove from Ohio to Texas and we drove through Oklahoma...How can I say this....It was interesting...We got lost and ended up in the ghetto where all the houses were boarded up and ruined...never again...

I bought my house from a divorced pig and saved 25K. 1 month later it was back to fair market value with a good scrubbing and some paint.

i've often thought of moving to texas or the carolina's. i HATE fucking winter. 5 years in the navy stationed in so cal and florida ruined N.E. for me except for the summers.

Haha Gordon you and the harem...I still cant believe you remember that stuff...But I also remember our trip to Daytona like 3 years ago and the infamous peanut incident

so get the 4 bedroom...if youre planning on staying there a while, long enough to raise kids, then it will just save time and money in the long run. Isnt everything bigger in Texas anyway?

You're right about housing prices in Tx at least... it's pretty reasonable.

We almost moved there about 7 years ago, but decided to move up here instead.
