There's tons of groups like that in the UK and ireland. I've even done it myself in Nottingham after a bunch of itinerant travelling fairground people (gypsies) tried to steal my VFR750. I disturbed them and saw their van driving off. Next day a few of my mates and I went out to the gypsy site at night and watched the van leave and cruised around following it until we saw them stop to steal a bike. We beat the crap out of them, making sure to break elbows so they couldn't work the fairground stuff and left them there.
One thing about Gypsies, they NEVER go to the police, so we knew we were safe.
