Anyone remember VHS Vs Beta?
Here we are again...
Have any of you picked a side yet?
HD DVD players on Amazon for $250
BluRay for $400
Any thoughts/opinions/insider info?

It all depends on who your favorite studio is.... some studios have signed deals solely with one or the other. For a while the only way to be satisfied is going to be own both... last weeks releases Blu-ray: 300 and HD DVD: Hot Fuzz

HD DVD Vs Blu-Ray


Ps3 play blu-ray. Sony also owns a huge collection of movies.

Xbox 360 can play hd-dvd with an add on drive.

but I walked by this just a few minutes ago... I don't usually geek out about this kind of stuff but had to say it's awesome in person. VERY well done.

Nope... work on Boylston/Mass Ave but sometimes cruise through at lunch if I need something at Best Buy... I was there looking at DVD players with a buddy who's wife works for Bruner/Cott so we took a stroll through. It's an awesome space.

I have congratulated Mike on that before. It's awesome isn't it? The reception desk at the Landmark building. I used to see a client in there 3 or 4 times a week.

It's expensive but they have devices that play both formats. I wish one format would win out but I don't think it's gonna happen anytime soon.
