i can't even remember how much aim has crapped out on me this past week but it's such a pain in the ass grrr..... someone paaleeeease kick the person that made aim.

Check your preferences and under connection make sure you are on Port 21. Again under preferences click on Sign On/Off, you will see a Connection button click on that and make sure you have port 21. I had some other one and it kept logging me on and off.....

try Trillian Pro v1.0.. it uses AIM, ICQ and MSN all together in one nice package

thanx rui but it's been a problem with everyone - i dont have any problems with my settings - just that im flat out sux... been kicking all of creation off lately not really a huge deal i suppose

I've been using trillian for over a year now. Pro was a BIG step in the right direction!

BUT, I'm online for 9+ hours a day, and AIM fails more than MSN or ICQ for me.
