Another WHOLE fucking weekend spent at work! Goddamned corporate email server ate shit Friday night and I've been working on it ever since. As it stands now, it won't be running as of business open tomorrow morning. This is very, very bad.

Me too, mostly. Trying to get Mick to say "look JC started the next fight again!" or something.... I'm just totally stressed about this issue at work. I've worked at least one day every weekend for as long as I can remember...trying to fix one thing or another. It just never ends around here.

Ironic...that in a month I'll have ALL brand new equipment (dell rackmount servers) without any of these rediculous issues I've been having lately. ...and this server has to crap out NOW?! Yah, it couldn't have waited another month...noooo.

But the up-side to this is that we're almost guaranteed to get the new equipment approved...

Normally, I would love my job. But...a few tricky issues have kept me on the edge of my seat, so to speak, for quite a while now (the one I'm working on now just started yesterday though).

It'll get better, I just need to rant or I'll break something...which in a room with this much network equipment, isn't a great idea.

And for anyone that gives a crap, I swapped all the hardware into an identical system and it's up and running just fine now (so far). If it continues to fly, it was a bad motherboard.
