Ok so my 15 year old cousin and a friend of hers took off, they've been missing since Monday night. They were at a party in Danbury, MA monday....drove back to Manchester, NH to drop someone off and haven't been seen since. They are still in the MA/NH area somewhere.

I figured there are a lot of people riding the streets on here in the right area, maybe someone might see the car.

They're in a white grand am, NH license plate "TRIXXIE"

if you see the car, could you call the cops or something...theres a national alert out for the car (amber alert type thing i guess).

The girl driving, this is her 3rd try to run away and is gunna get thrown in juvie if she gets caught, and knows it.....so thats kinda why everyone is freaking out. They are running pretty low on gas and money as far as we know, the driver works in derry and might go pick up her pay check so they've got that place helping out in case they show up there.

thanks.... actually i just heard that the girl DID show up to pick up her paycheck, and they got them there like 10 mins ago.

My sister did the same thing about a year ago. They were found 2 days later in one of their friends basements safe and sound. Unless this has been planned, they won't get far. Most teenagers can't save money for shit, so they won't get very far with the cost of gas these days. Check out myspace accounts, kids like to communicate through it because they think parents won't be able to figure it out. With a little investigative work, I was able to narrow down about 4 kids that knew about my sisters run away by using her myspace account. A little police intimidation was all it took before one of them cracked.

That's why the family computer, the only they are allowed to use, is in our living room, where we constantly keep an eye on what they do. My daughter is not allowed to go on myspace anyway.

Don't forget that they "could" go very far if they really wanted to....just doing hitch hiking. Extremely dangerous, any parent would go out of their minds.

Yup, that works at home, but don't forget that kids now have internet access at school and at friends homes. We watched what she did when we could, but there is LOTS of times when you can't. She was told not to go onto myspace when her grades started slipping, but she did it anyway behind our backs.

it all just blows my mind....where the hell were they gunna go? its not like they're gunna go to texas and start a new life for themselves or anything. going home can't be so bad that they'd prefer living out of a car with no money, food, etc.

I have no idea whatsoever about this teenage girl in particular and why she is running away...but believe me...for some teens, IT IS better to live in a car and eat when they can, instead of enduring some serious abusing that could go on in their home. Unfortunatly, some kids go thru some serious shit at home and they are trying to get out. It's a cry for help. And many times, no one is listening or willing to help, or even believe them. It's not because you *think* they have a good life that it is the case. Sometimes there is some crazy shit going on in your own extended family or neighbor's house and you would never suspect it, because they don't "fit the profile". Well...there is no profile, no social class level, etc. for these things.

Of course, there is also the teens who are just plain acting like spoiled brats and think they can take over the world...

Yup, most of them think they know everything, don't want to listen to what adults have to say, and think that running away will fix everything. My sisters and her friends big idea was to drive to Florida and get a job. Brilliant

But lets just say that a few weeks in the real world and my daughter came home crying and sorry......and she was not even in the real world....she ran all the way to Grandma's!!!!

Were they at the track on saturday? I swear I saw that plate on saturday, either at the track or driving home. i remember the plate because it's close to another members screen name.
