Tovah's Up In The House...

Tovah representin' Old Coach Farm, LARGE! A fourth, a third and TWO seconds. Then as we're gettin' ready to leave, Tovah's name is called over the P.A. She also got 'Reserve Champion of the Day' (highest points total for the day)!

And this was only her SECOND show EVER!

Pictures suck, it was raining and I need a new camera...

I know it! Funny thing is, she's all 'eh whatever'. We tell her how great she's doing and people from all over the show come up to congratulate us & her and stuff, but I'm not convinced she REALLY understands just how good she's doing...

I can't wait 'til she's old enough to do the non-lead line classes. I think a big part of her doing so well is that even though she's on a line, the judges can see she's clearly in control of the horse. She's still the one giving the commands and she's still the one controlling it. I'm not a horse person, but it's truely remarkable to see...

And a big hat's off to Jen, her trainer - the other chick in the pics. Tovah just started riding this summer, in June or maybe even July. She's done a wonderful job working with her and is incredible with her, really a cool gal. And besides Tovah, Jen's other 'student' and Jen herself both placed in all their events. I think it was like 10 for 10 or something, plus Tovah's Reserve Champ thingy. Damn good job indeed by Jen...I think, right?

I wish I could have started out that young! Be glad she is on a lead line now, a horse is just as bad as having a car, worse because you can make it anywhere.
