| Fukkin gits... beet Humor... er... Humour Conversation from Apriliaforum:
(I'll cut & paste for simplicity.) Quote:
- now that we've gotten over our flooding (3-5" rain on Monday) and the streets have dried, I'm jonesing for a ride- currently 34 degrees F, some fog, lots of stoopid cage drivers half asleep suckin Starbuck's and jabbering on cell phones, but I'll outsmart the twits.
- ..............& in English?
- (sigh...) For those that are clueless:
34 degrees F = 1.1 C, 274.2611111 kelvin, 493.67 degree Rankine
5 inches = 12.7 centimeter 127 millimeter (hope THAT helps yer little pea brain)
The ride is 11 miles, or 18 kilometers (how heavy is a kilo meter?)
Or 3.7 league, but only 3.2 nautical miles, which it would have been on Monday during the flooding.
Anything else?
- I was in a grocery store today and asked for a pound of apples. the shop assistant looked at me and said "we're in the EU now, it's kilos". So I said "okay then, give me a pound of kilos"
- nice, but I'm confuzed... would a pound of kilos cost more than a pound or less? And, I've always wondered- is "EU" pronounced "Eeeewwww" as in "Who just farted"?
- I dont know. I've been off work all week with a cubic foot and I think the antibiotics have affected my brain.
- But what is the square root of an oak tree?
- A cubic foot is 28.3168466 liters!!
- Surely you must mean "LITRES"?
