No scheduled bouts yet. We're still training and recruiting, so it'll be a little while before we're entertaining the crowds. Think we got about 25 or 30 girls so far.

It said they practiced on Thursday... I thought they were practicing on Friday nights? I think Jenni still wants to give it a shot as long as she's not working

Private practice is on thursdays right now. Open skates are on fridays and sometimes additional days/nights. Jenni would need to attend some open skates to check it out, and show some commitment before actually joining the league and attending the private practices.

Fresh Eddie Fresh will be reffing mainly for the NH derby team. He's been a great help. He's pretty good on the skates, his form just looks a little funny cause his jeans are so tight. He actually bought me my first ref whistle and gave it me last night. See you at the match tomorrow? Know where you're sitting?

Yeah, I'm definitely gonna be there. I'll keep an eye out for you. I was bummed I missed KB last time. We don't usually sit. Usually end up hanging out at the beer end of the track (on the floor). Basically wherever I stand the best chance of getting hit by a derby girl.

I told Godiva not to schedule me on Friday nights starting in January. Now I just have to buy me some skates.

Good to hear, that'll get you a start. There are occasionally open skates other days and nights, but usually it's only a few of the girls, not a majority. You've got my number, just check with me whenever. It's not an easy sport, and takes a lot of commitment and training, they just make it look easy. You'll have to dedicate time, so if it's hard to make it there for one or two open skates, I'd imagine it's going to be tough to make it to meetings practices and events. Not trying to discourage you, just giving you an idea. Anyone is welcome to come up for the open skates though and check it out. Jenni, get me you e-mail and i'll send you an info packet.
