I have almost bought a convertable a few times, until I remember that anytime the weather is nice enough to put the top down I would 99% of the time take the bike.

Ya this thing is strickly a summer car.... no snow / rain etc...

and I hear about the bike vs. car thing... but it's hard to include my 2.5 yo on the bike... so I figured this would be a nice compromise to have some fun with the whole fam!

as far as a cop magnet goes.... I figure maybe I can play the bad guy during EVOC training

I'm psyched.... looks like I'm set to go get it Saturday... tell ya what... convertibles are pretty cheap in January!!! got it for like 3k under book

So who knows about these things???? what are some easy bang for the buck mods to have some fun with before the summer hits????

ya know funny you say that... the best part about shopping for one of these... is all the "test drives"... kinda became a game with my father-in-law and I... we had one steaming at the end of the test... luckily not our fault... it was a leaking intake manifold gasket the dealer neglected to mention until we brought it back in a cloud...

Hey Vince, i had an 04 GT. love it. unfortunately the only way to get serious power out of them is forced induction. i did intake and exhaust and it was lots of fun. also do the UPR short throw shifter with the extreme handle. trust me. Let me know if you have any questions.

04... nice... 40th anniversary... notice someone thought it was a good idea to put the 40th fender badges on this car... dunno why... but they did...

I tested one with a short shift in it... not sure what kind... it was cool... although the stock is awefully comfy

Looks good. I drove one of the new mustang convertibles in Hawaii and it was mad fun have the top down. I was so close to picking up a 350Z Roadster instead of my G, but then I realized how impractical it was.

Nice,dont take any shit from anyone those cars are fun as hell ive owned several heres a pic of my current one i fully restored it lots of go fast stuff far from stock now has an SVO whipple charger 10 psi boost 3.55 gears x pipe flowmasters cold air intake 40 psi injectors custom tune car made 301hp 342ft lbs tq on the dyno not bad for a stock motor with a blower best e/t 12.80 at 110 on street tires.If you plan on doing any mods let me know i can help
