Brain exercise...

Tell me...which way is this dancer moving? Clockwise, or counter-clockwise?

No illusion here. I thought it was one too, but it's not. Just tell me which way she is turning....this should be very interesting. I will post up tomorrow the results.

Blah blah blah of course it's an illusion, watch the transition when the two legs meet and you can make it turn either way if you concentrate.

Re: Brain exercise...

blah blah blah you're so smart.

Ok, here is the link: wWw.::BRAIN TEST (: Right vs Left Brain mind thinking hemisphere research information spinning dancer .com

I'm right brained. It actually took me concentration to finally see the counter clockwise move, and was about to say that this was a scam and it was REALLY turning clockwise only....LOL After some practice, I was finally able to see her turn counter clockwise and hold that image for seconds at a time. Pretty cool!

I can't see the counterclockwise option. I tried staring at all sorts of different places too, but I still see clockwise

Re: Brain exercise...

Try to *stare* at the bottom left corner for a few seconds...that's how I finally made her turn around...after some practice, I was finally able to see her rotating either way. Now I can even "play" with her and make her do half turns, then switch right back before she completes a full turn..cool!!

Re: Brain exercise...

Ugghhh...at least either result doesn't make me a psychotic like most results often show. I saw left, then right, then figured out how to get it to change by watching the shadow (after going cross-eyed and vomiting a bit).

Re: Brain exercise...

Wow, that is really cool - making it go back and forth is kind of fun.

I keep it in the corner of my screen and look at it occasionally just to see which direction I see first (the very first time I looked it was counter-clockwise). Now, I seem to see either direction when I look at it now (no pattern I can discern).

Some part of me thinks this gif is really two different rotations and its messing with me

Counterclockwise. The shadow is wrong for clockwise.

Re: Brain exercise...

only clockwise at first, then if i try real hard i can get her to spin counter clockwise. if i just look at it without thinking (being lazy) it reverts back to clockwise.

makes me think of those old magic eye pictures, but i was never able to see the hidden image
