Short story........

My oldest son kick the shit out of a kid for pressuring my middle son to smoke cigarettes and pot.

Now I have a meeting with the school principle and the kids mother.

Oh to be a dad!

I remember bloody-ing up an older kid who was messing with my big brother (1.5 yrs older). He'd have done it himself, but fuck that. You don't mess with family. The beat-up kid's mom called and my dad laughed at her. It was a good day for the family.

No matter what the school system does to your oldest - he did get into a fight... In my opinion - He still did the right thing, If he gets suspended for the week - permission to park his ass on the couch and play X-box all he wants, slip him a $20 to take his girlfriend out, etc.

But - Make sure he knows there are times fighting is OK, and times it isn't.

All is good with the cops and the school, the school wants the mother of the beat kid to know what is going on and what her kid is into.

Kind of funny, tho, I'm divorced and I know more about what is going on with my kids than she knows what is going on with hers.

Isn't it supposed to be the opposite? Here's to making nice nice with my ex!

Shouldn't come to that because they weren't in school, my oldest knows that if he gets suspended he'll get kicked off the track team so he went to the kids house last night.

Well had a meeting at the school today,

The kid denied any wrong doing and I could tell he was liying, but anyway the situation has resolved itself.

All is good in Kirkland.

PS, the kid got tooled up pretty good.
