1) If some half-assed driver started making noise about an F1 test, then yes, it would be news. Because its retarded, and makes the driver look like an ass.

2) I would think the exact same thing if it were a dude - that (s)he should win some races before asking for a promotion.

I was expecting more controversy when I read that. Honestly her comments there are pretty innocent and expected.

Ok so she won a race. Good for her. She still has a long way to go. Lets see if she can win a 2nd one this year or will it take another 3 years to win.

The guy to watch this year is is Graham Rahal. I wouldnt be surprised to see him testing for an F1 ride within a year or two.

Nobody has offered her any testing or anything else in an F1 car; she's clearly publicly seeking it, and hasn't really done anything to deserve it.
