I dont think i'm getting one. If I remember correctly if you make over X amount of income in a year and you're single you don't get anything.

You need to find ways to increase your deductions. Besides helping you qualify for the tax rebate, if you are close to the 79K mark it could potentially keep you in the 25% tax bracket instead of the 28%.

401K is a big one. If you are near a threshold, putting a bit more money in your 401K can actually get you more money back.
