is it bad if i cover the wifes mouth as to not wake up the kid sleeping?

I got yelled at for this but hey i was doign he a favor she has to deal with it i am right to sleep after

Nah, but why go without the use of one hand? Use a sock like I do. If you're going to try to be all sensitive, maybe take the sock out before you go back to sleep.
