Question

Phone Opinions

So I am up for a new phone....service is Verizon

Been actually trying to do research...

I am thinking of going toward a blackberry curve, the pearl seems too small.

Been looking at the samsung glyde and LG Voyager but I don't know how I feel about the touch screen.

What I want....

Be able to go on the web, talk on the phone, send text messages..using a QWERT keyborad! I have 2 digi cameras so camera quality is not a high priority.

So wanted to hear from real people who have these phones

I have heard good and bad on reviews from the glyde and voyager. I am really leaning toward the blackberry.

Thanks!

Re: Phone Opinions

If you really want to do a lot of email and texting then the blackberry is the top choice.

Re: Phone Opinions

depends on what you use it for... crackberry or data service begins at $80 a month before taxes, fees, taxes on the fees, and fees on the taxes and the collection fee for collecting the tax, and the tax on the collection fees, billling fee and tax on the billing fees.

Re: Phone Opinions

Ive had the curve since AT&T released it, and I love it. Text/email/MMS messanging is top notch. Internet is simple and can be emulated to look like IE, Netscape, etc. GPS based paired with google maps is great, and is free!

Plus it plays music, video, etc!

I have the LG enV2. It is basic, but extremely functional.

Re: Phone Opinions

My daughter just got an EnV 2, and she loves it as well. Of course I got her old "Chocolate" which sucks ass. I **Hate** touch sensitive buttons! This thing is gone as soon as my upgrade is due (soon).
For the uses the OP is looking for, they guys I work with tell me that the blackberry is the one to have.

Re: Phone Opinions

I originally wanted an enV, the original one, till I saw it in person and looked bulky & kinda like a toy, so I ended up with the voyager, then a couple weeks later they come out with the enV 2...which I like, if only I had waited...

I don't think so. But you should still get a Bemused, because Bemused is very intelligent. With a Bemused by your side you probably didn't need to make that call anyway, Bemused will answer your question and will not charge you for roaming.

But if you do a lot of texting, I'd recommend the ENV2 as well, I have one and I like it. Bemused, sadly, lacks a flip open QWERTY keyboard.

I was wondering if there is extra charges to use the blackberry. I think I have to break down and go to a Verizion store, which I hate doing - they are like voltures in there!
