i agree with the teenager part. but then again ive had a sport bike since i was 16 so i guess i fit into that category even though im 21 now..

unfortunatly most of the teenagers ive encountered havent been properly trained on how to ride on the street yet..

I'm with you there...not so much the teenagers part, some kids as long as they have a good head on their shoulders and want to learn from our more experienced riders, I say welcome them and teach them so they don't end up being idiots on sportbikes. The part about some girls talking like guys to try and fit in is what is mind buggling. I'm sure many can attest that it is unappealing and unattractive. Guys might have a complete different idea about you than what you would want them to have. Or, maybe this is exactly what they want them to think...

Unfortunately, as a barn / horse chick... that's just the way we talk. When a 1200lb animal runs you over shoot and goshdarn don't cut it.

Internet message boards, or "forums" if you will, run in cycles. Some members join up and post consistently throughout the forum's existence. Other members post heavily during certain periods of their life when not much else is going on and then fade away into the real world, checking back in periodically for updates and heyhowareyas. This leaves a void for the other forum members who have stuck around. That void tends to be filled by newcomers, or "newbies". Some of those newbies will just post everywhere and anywhere and become so annoying that they eventually end up on your ignore list. *cough* Doc *cough* But some of those newbies will grow to become productive posters on the forum, contributing information and various new ways which they view the world through their newbie eyes. And that is what the internet is all about isn't it? Discovering new things and different points of view? I know some of you are pretty old, and with that oldness comes an inherent fear of change. But change should really be embraced, for it is a necessary component of the growth of any forum. And shame on you for not realizing and/or accepting that fact. Shame on you.
