If your interested we have a grader attachment that we do not use. it came with the tractor, but its just sitting around.
"grader attachment"? is it a back blade? kinda looks like a backwards plow that attaches to the three point hitch?

I used a 6' back blade to do my driveway smoothing and to smooth/grade/spread the "lawn" (still waiting for it to grow).

Box blade is nice too.

A little big for what I need it for but I did have some fun with the 110 I used around my house for a while

No tractor purchase yet, local dealers won't budge on price and I aint budging on what I want to spend. Not sure what I'm gonna do yet, I did get a quote from a dealer in PA for $1,800 less than the ones I got locally but I'm looking at $800-$1k to get it shipped. Is the savings worth it?

This is the tractor and options I want, locally the best price was $21,825, in PA it was $20,000. Is it just me or is $450 off MSRP on something like this kind of insulting? The John Deere dealer knocked 10% off without me even asking anything I like the Deere but looking at the specs, they don't compare to the Kubota for the comparable size

2008 B2620 4wd, 26hp
Base MSRP including selected tires $12,584.00
Ballast Box $186.00
Loader $2,820.00
Backhoe Type $5,850.00
Backhoe Bucket $433.00
Backhoe Thumb $410.00
Total Configured Price of Model* $22,283.00

While 800$ is a bit of difference, how close are you to the local dealer? Just thinking this isn't something you work on every day so dealer visits might be more frequent and you could make it back on service.

Also do you already have a trailer for it or are you going to rent one? Im concerned when you travel with it because driving it from RI to my house would take about 13 years, so a trailer will be imperative.

Don't worry Chris, I'll just drive the IH down in some overalls (and that's it).

R7, make sure that is a subframe mounted backhoe. The 3-point hitch mounted ones beat the crap outta the machine.

Mark,
go with a frame mounted backhoe not a 3 point hitch mounted hoe. They are way easier to attach and are far more rugged. I have seen the 3 point hitch hoes do some serious damage since they can overpower the mounts. just my 2cents

I'm 15 miles to the dealer. I'm pretty sure with waranty work, they will transport it. And home delivery is included with the purchase

I have no plans to purchase a trailer for it.

This is a frame mount backhoe as well

Hmmm seems as I was away sence Friday, that gave the dealers a bit of time to think before they lost a sale. The dealer closest to me matched the price I got from PA shipping included. I'll be stopping by Monday after work to make it happen

Re: It's a sickness, but it can be justified?

i wouldn't bother with a ballast box.

i'd get a back blade, rake, box scraper or mower.

i cant remember ever not having something on the back of the tractor.

as too them picking it up and bringing it back for any warranty work i'd confirm that and or get it in writing.

are you getting the tires loaded? if not i would.

good luck with the new tractor

The ballast box is included when you add the loader option.

A blade or a rake is something I may get in the future, when, who knows!
A mower is out for me anyways, the bulk area of my yard is my septic system and I'm not supposed to drive anything heavy over it.

I've got the email from the sales guy printed and will be bringing it with me tomorrow, I have a feeling I'll have to point a few things out again but at least I'll have it in writing on my end.

I'm hoping to be able to play with this thing this weekend

I might be interested, let me know...

I met with the salesman today to fill out the financing papers, if all goes well, it's being delivered Saturday
No surprises and he gave me a credit for the ballast box and I put that towards a cannopy roof. All they need to do is install the backhoe thumb

I've got about 3 hours on it so far and so far, so good. It's small but gets the job done. Pretty much all i've done so far is pull rocks out of the road I want to make to get my firewood out of the woods. Some of the larger rocks I just had to dig a hole next to it and burry it deeper. It's a good thing the dealer screwed up and put a 16" bucket on vs the 12" that was supposed to come with it..
The best part about pulling the rocks up is I've found a crapload of nice flat stones for future landscape plans

I don't know if I'll ever have time or even want to ride anymore Anyone want a R1, a KTM or a Raptor?
