Does anyone know what the error message "Could not perform end of disc-at-once" means?

What can I do to fix it, so that I can burn image files?

Here's some background:
-P4 1.3GHz
-640mb PC600 RD RAM
-160GB western digital hard drive (25GB free space)
-80GB western digital backup hard drive
-BenQ DW1620 DVD DL DVD burner
-media used: Memorex DVD+R DL discs
-OS: Windows 2000 Professional
-Programs: Nero 7.8.5.0, and later Ahead Nero Ultra Edition v8.3.2.1

Here's what I did to trouble shoot:
-shut down the program, restarted it tried it again
-de-fragmented the drive
-tried different discs
-restarted computer
-made sure I had the newest firmware on the burner
-uninstalled the burner, made sure all the I had "ultra DMA" in the IDE ATA/ATAPI Controller settings, restarted the computer and made sure "Ultra DMA mode" was in the current transfer mode box
-uninstalled Nero 7
-deleted remnants of Nero folders
-used registry cleaner to delete remnants of the Nero program from the registry
-restarted the computer
-installed the newest version of Nero (Ahead Nero 8)
-restarted the computer
-tried a fresh disc

and I get the same exact error

what else can I do short of buying a new burner?

what are you burning? i know Roxio has a default setting (Joilet i think it's called) that wont allow files larger than 4GB to burn on a project (or disk). you have to uncheck that box to allow files larger than 4GB to burn on a disk.
