I'll be down for this.... Since I moved here i haven't been out in boston that much. Hopefully i'll be on a nightshift though so I don't have to wake up early.

9-9:30. we need to decide on a place. clery's was just a suggestion because it's a good mix of different things: bars and lounge upstairs; bar and dance floor downstairs.

open to other suggestion though.

9-930...? i thought you didnt want to have to wait in lines. Are we staying at whatever place we get to for the night? Thats not much of a crawl...

whatever man, im just sayin' a cage is a little easier to get home in if theres no place to crash.

she is a little spinner. do tell! too early? didnt i leave at like 1? Bars only open for another 1/2 hour. Plus, i had to be up 530 so :

doesnt matter to me where we go either. i'm not very competent about the area. but if its an actual bar crawl and not just a get together, i feel like we should start early/earlier.... it is a Saturday afterall

well whatever u got in mind is fine. i'll most likely be half naked and half in the bag gettin my tan on outside by the time u get to my place anyways. i'd just rather not have to think too much... lol.

Re: Bar Crawl

well maybe if you really wanna do a CRAWL, fanuel would be good because everything is really close... there's just always major lines over that way and I'm not sure which places charge a cover and which don't. there's always so many damn people over there the bars pack them in like sardines.

Re: Bar Crawl

a little inside scoop i received:

most places dont start a cover charge until 11, and its usually around 5-10 bucks... however, some will waive the cover charge and let you skip the line if they know youre doing a bar crawl. we just have to clear it with the bar first. I have no problem calling these places and seeing what the minimum number of people is. Soooo, what places do you want to hit up in the Fanueil Area?
Heres a rundown:

The tap (8 dollar pitchers Molson)
Purple shamrock
Mcfaddens
Sissy k’s (1.50 bud lite draft)
The office (never been)
The place
Coogans
Jose mcintires
Hennessy’s
Red sky (never been)
Paddy o’s
Trinity (2 dollar bud lite draft)
Hong kong (HUGE fish bowl drinks)
Black rose (Pub-ish)
An tains (1 dollar miller lite draft)
Sanctuary
Ned devines
Dockside (kinda ghetto, couple floors)
Clarks
Bell in hand (couple floors, decent size place)

lets get a list of a few that we want to hit up and i'll give them a call.

Re: Bar Crawl

All that fanueil hall shit gets really crowded on the weekends, plus it gets full of trashy people that migrate into the city for friday and saturday night barhopping. Like the bridge and tunnellers in NYC.

I'm down for a crawl regardless, most likely.

Re: Bar Crawl

If anyone is up for it, there is a booze cruise the 27th heading out at 7, coming back at 11, leaving plenty of time to hit up a few bars afterwards

tickets are selling fast though.

Edit: I see the date was changed. Damn...
