New Suit...I received my new suit the other day. I want to break it in a little prior to my first trackday, so I decided to wear it for my ride today. The suit is a Hein Gericke Celtic with a fully integrated CE Level 2 certified full coverage back protector. It's also sporting Hiprotec hip armor and Sastech knee, elbow and shoulder armor. Suit is very comfortable and I felt great wearing it for a short 80 mile ride today... Looking forward to wearing on my first trackday.... Last edited by bmrider : 06-22-08 at 05:47 PM.  |

Re: New Suit...Thanks Chuck... Right now, I'm confirmed for the July 15th and 16th trackdays. Tomorrow I will be sending in my paperwork for the July 1st LAPS trackday... If all goes well, I'll also be signing up for the August & September trackdays...  |

Re: New Suit...OK Brad, you convinced me to buy a suit. After looking around for several hours, I ordered a Teknic Chicane 1pc from motorcyclecloseouts.com. They had the $499 retail suit for $299 ($310, shipped). Shit, what an expensive day: $310 for the suit $101 for the back protector $67 for the chest protector $478 total But now I'm covered for track gear. (Except for gloves, I need to replace the Moto GPs I have. Oh, and I'll need pucks.) |
