i dont think anyone ever said newbury was a ride. ride the backroads in with the SS group like jim said, hang out and chat for a while, and then ride home. for me it was more of a chance to put faces to names, hang out, have a few laughs and an ice cream, and head out. I dunno about you guys but I do plenty of riding, by myself or with friends, I dont need NESR to plan rides for me

I would love to go on more group rides, but I've also heard stories of people doing wheelies, getting tickets, etc. I'm all for a spirited rip down twisties, but safety is a bigger concern for me. I don't want some a-hole in front of me riding beyond his abilities and taking me out when he eats shit around a corner. I've been on a few rides thus far and they've been awesome, but they were smaller groups of experienced riders, who all had the same expectations and abided by the same rules.

I dont do Group Rides,

I only ride with People I know for the most part, Usally 2 or 3 Of my friends and maybe a new guy or 2.

Nothing is less apealling to me then a ride in a pack of bikes, even less if I have not rode with them before.

ya, this is where I'm at...unfortunately I just don't have a close group of friends that ride all the time so I'm looking for more (but not a huge pack). A few of us at work ride now but its even hard getting all of them together for a good ride...mostly just me and my buddy on his 675
