So many posing threads lately:

Newbury
Hampton Beach
Milford Applebees
etc...

What happened to ride, stop for 10 minutes, ride. Now it seems like ride 10 minutes, pose 2 hours, ride 10 minutes.

I'm just as guilty, since I have been to a few. Just seems like more of these than long rides.

or how about meet up at a location and then go for a nice ride with leaders in the front and easy riders in the back.. and i rode about an hour or so to get to hampton beach, ate dinner then rode.. but i know there are some people who dont ride as much but they are just missing out on all the fun!

Gas is expensive and talk is cheap. The more posing we do the less tires we have to buy, oil we have to change, chains we have to lube, bikes we have to wash. Think of all the resources we save by posing. Consider it our way of being ECO-Friendly Green riders. So you go on polluting with your long rides to no where. Ill be saving the planet one pose night at a time.

For me its a matter of geography, I do most of my spirited rides on weekends where we take off and the roads, Or Loudon, To do any decent riding during the week You have travel out throught he traffic and by the time you get out its dark and I am nit a big fan of "dipping" at night Sure I can and have done the Jway/ Storrow drive championships With Lots of cops and ashole cagers, but I am gonna pass on that.

I live 1.2 Miles from Newbury and Thats where I hang out with motorcycle friends have coffee and talk about Bikes.

I am an Old school poser me Dollar Bill. ApolloMX because we are here already, I would not travel from halfway across the state past many low populated Twisty roads to hang on Newbury. Thats kind of gay

Most posing that I've ever been to has either started or ended with a nice ride. I give myself about 2 hours to take backroads from my house to where ever the pose is. Most of the time we ride afterwards as well.

Perhaps no one is inviting you to ride beforehand or afterwards because you'll probably just bitch about it? You waste a lot of energy being angry.

Not questioning the why. I know you also race. It just seems that the event info forum is filled more with posing events than with riding events.
