Re: phones: moto w755 vs lg vx8350?

I have the 8300 which is a little larger and has an external antenna, other than that they are they same phone. It's nice, 2 years old and no problems. I can do the new every 2 upgrade and get another but I really have no need to.

You can go onto ebay or the verizon store (and pay more) and get the larger battery for it, mine came with an 1100 mah and I got the 1700 mah li-on. It didn't help it with service quality, but if you'll have the phone off the charger awhile it's definitely nice to have.

the website I was just looking at says you can get a 4gb micro-sd card for it. I know they make the 4gb card, but when I got my phone I saw many message board posts that said not to use anything over 1gb...so I went with the 1gb. Then get the USB adapter / SD adapter and it's pretty much a thumb drive and junk. slick

I like it. Haven't had a motorolla, but I know they're good too. I was considering an 8350 upgrade but gave up, mine is still going. I've never wanted to throw it at anything so that's a plus. My old audiovox, now that one lives in my shooting bag and is going to have a run in with a .17 HMR

The 755 is sharp looking but a number of the thin style motorola phones have a sluggish interface that is very irritating. I don't know if the 755 has this problem but you should play with it to make sure it is ok before buying.

The 8350 is a solid phone with no real issues but it doesn't look as nice as the 755.

In terms of functionality, both phones are nearly identical so I would compare them side by side and buy the one that works better for you.

Re: phones: moto w755 vs lg vx8350?

thanks guys. I had the 8300 and it decided that it didn't want to work anymore. I was riding home yesterday after using the phone all day, got home and it was shut off...turned it on and wouldn't go. Called VZW and they said to try it with the wall jack and no battery and that would show if it was the battery or not - not. The phone wouldn't do anything.

The tech guys at the store couldn't even get my videos, photos or phonebook off the 8300. I backed up my phonebook a while back so I got the 8350, a 1gb card and a usb from wallyworld and everything is good. Made some ringtones today, got the phonebook squared away and an really happy with the phone. It's pretty good and the photo quality is way better than the 8300.

So you're lg shit the bucket for no apparent reason and you went and bought another LG? Good logic

The w755 is another 'w' phone, which means 'wait' for the KRZR replacement, or something like that I think, cause it definitely ain't one.

Those dumbasses. If you have the 8300 plugged into the wall and pop the battery out, it dies. The phone will not work without a battery.

Mine uh, got a little wet saturday. It died. I let it dry, plugged it into the wall and I turned it on...said oh cool it's alive. let it charge awhile and I noticed the display was lit up so I open it and I see the VZW logo and nothing else. push the power button, nothing. popped the battery out, put in my 1100 mah cell and it turned on. while it was on I took the 1100 cell out and it died. 1700 mah battery is dead. it works fine with the 1100 in it though.

Makes me wonder if your battery was shot too or not.
Glad you like the 8350...good to know for future reference

Yup - This is the 5th one that I've had and the only one that I ever had a problem with and I've had it since it was on the market for a week. So yeah, I have no problem with LG.

I have the 8350 --- have had it for about 5 months.

Overall, it's a good, basic, durable phone.

Good reception, clarity, good photo/video quality.

I like it and would recommend it to you
