Bathroom project, before and after!

So i took on remodeling my bathroom. its been a pain in the ass considering there was no shower in there to begin with, just a tub and it was almost 20 years old.

so i had the showervalve installed by a professional, but all the hack work was done by me. I am no remodeler and most of the work has been done on nights after work and the past week i put a major dent in it. all i have left to do is mud sand and paint.

work that had to be done

rip out old walls, shower valve, and old toilet... doesnt seem like alot of work til you get knee deep in garbage.

installed

new toilet, new drywall, shower valve, exhaust fan and ductin, and shower liner.

work still to be finished

new fixture for the sink, mud, sand, and paint......

this far it looks pretty good, i am more concerned with functionality than looks, so dont rip on me for the hack work, i did not replace any of the old frame and it was way off, so i did the best i could with what i had.

before

After

the wall was so bad i wanted to make sure it was sealed.

we had a very limited budget and we managed to barely stay within it, with some of the reimbursements from my folks.......

we can trim up the real overloaded spots and then mud and paint....

Don't know where you are located but I've got a pedestal sink sitting in my garage. Free for the taking . . . pm me if you're interested.

Ahhh, the beauty of technology. This is it. Pretty sure it's brand new. I've never used it. It's a bit dusty but other than that, perfect condition.

OK - sounds good. I've already moved it twice and I might be moving again soon. Hate to move it a third time!

I don't think the color is that bad? Anything is better than white or slightly tinted colors.

I painted my bathroom burgundy, some love it, most hate it, but I like it

Re: Bathroom project, before and after!

we expected the wall color to be more of a khaki but turned out sort of mustard brown, but with the white it all seemed to go together pretty good.

really like how it turned out
