haha jk I own one and so does my wife. Hardwire your ipod to you car stereo which you seemed to have figure that out. You can plug your ipod into any home stereo with the two wire audio cable. No need for the other stuff if you have those.

My wife wants the bose stereo for her office so I will be picking one up at some point for her.
The BOSE iPod dock is awesome.
Great sound and clarity from a tiny unit.
Highly recommend it

Tiny units are good for certain things...not so much for others...

Done that already w/ the iPod. I hooked it into the Aux RCA jacks on my car stereo. The iPod is powered by a dock connector that plug into the lighter.

Belkin : Auto Kit for iPod w/ Dock Connector

Then you simply get the adapter to plug from the power to the RCa and voila! iPod through your car stereo.

Re: iPod nano?

I'm hurt you didn't ask me first. Get an adapter for your Pioneer deck so that you can control it directly from the stereo AND get better sound quality.

go to file in the upper left corner of i tunes and click on add file to library then find your downloaded music, open it and then it should show up in you i tunes.
