Yesterday I was invited to a party with a bunch of buddies from my old high school, and I decided that it was a good opportunity to drive by myself for the first time since my motorcycle accident.

So I pull of the driveway to go to the party, in the family car, a 1986 Mercedes-Benz E300 and as i put it in drive (after reversing out of the driveway) I hear this huge pop.

As I tried to ease on the accelerator, there was no power to the rear wheels. I believe the crankshaft had snapped. I flip on my cautions, as I am on Lake Street in Peabody, put it in neutral, and push it back into the driveway.

At this point in time my grandmother is all stressed out. We decided that I could take the BMW Z3 instead, my personal car. The car is a '96 with about 26,000 miles.

I open the garage, and proceed to move the riding lawnmower out of the way of the Z3 so i could take her out. I put the lawnmower into neutral, and started to push it across the garage - the steering column snapped.

After using a cotter pin to hold it in place, I attempted to start up the Z3, the battery was toast. Right now I have it hooked up to my battery tender.

What else could go wrong

Might wanna make a call to the Scooter Store. They can work with your insurance or health care provider to get you a mobile chair at little or no cost to you!

sorry to here about your misfortune though that sucks
