Craigs Scamers are Funny....

Check this out and mind you this is the second time I have gotten this letter on two totally diff bikes>>>>>and hey dummy no 06 will sell for $3500????? What a tool...

Hello,
First of all I want to thank you for your interest for my bike. I sell at this price ($3500) because i just finished the divorce with my husband. When the divorce has finished I own this bike. Now as a women i don't need it and I need money for other things. This bike is in excellent working conditions, no scratches, flaws or any kind of damage, slightly used in 100% working and looking conditions and comes with a clear title. From the beginning you have to know that for the payment I request only secure pay, I prefer the payment to be done using eBay services. As I know that my current situation is pretty special I want the deal closed only through eBay's Buyer Protection Program in order for me and you to be 100% protected. The final price that I want for this bike is $3500. If you will take it for this price, I am willing to handle the shipping. Please get back to me asap if you decide to buy, and include in your e-mail your full name and address where you want it shipped so I can start the deal with eBay. You will receive all the transaction payment and shipping details from them.
I will wait your answer(if you are interested to buy) very soon.

If they're gonna scam you, they should find a picture with a hotter girl, I bet theyd get more people that way. Maybe a chick in a bikini or something.

Re: Craigs Scamers are Funny....

A friend of mine sent this to her.

Quote:
Ok well how about we do this: we will meet up in florence. I will be at Look park sittin on a bench. I will be wearing a mexican sombrero, assless
leather chaps over checkered styled flair pants, a wolverine fur coat, and
aviator sunglasses. You will sit behind me and say "hello, the chicken is
in the bag today isnt it?" where I will say "capt mustafa, it is indeed a
chicken in the bag" you will then tip your hat 3 times, I repeat 3 times.
Upon the third tip, I will leave the money that is in a manila colored
suitcase underneath me and you will take it. Just in case you are followed
you must, and this is very important, you must walk in a zig zag motion,
backwards. This is to throw off the ninjas in the tree's. Trust me, I
learned about that in training. The suitcase must go into an ice box which
must be in your trunk. The ice box will prevent the suitcase from expanding
in the heat through thermonuclear molecules and their polarity to be drawn
towards the sides of the car. Oh and it HAS to be a car...nothing else will
do. If I see you come up in anything less, then, well, lets just say the
money will have an "accident" over the cliff and into the water... Any
questions please let me know. Thanks.

The brown tickler

naw...I have a feeling "Ms Brown" is from hmm, nigeria.

I have a feeling Ms Browns pics were stollen from someone's myspace.

reply back and say no ebay. meet in person and exchange $ for title + bike. see what ms brown has to say to that. I wonder if the shot of the VIN was photoshopped

Did anyone else see the Dateline special on these scams? That girl could very well be working with someone from Nigeria. These people meet these women online, promise to marry them and convince them to help with the scam.

Re: Craigs Scamers are Funny....

saw a guy this morning selling an 08 gixxer for 3,000 with "i know the price is low, i must sell. please do not flag the post" so for shits i emailed him. this is what i got back:

My name is Edward Zampova and I'm glad to see your interest in purchasing my bike.
What can I tell you in a few words is that I am an individual seller, I am not a dealer and this is my first type of auction on Craigslist. The bike that I have for sell is mine , it is personal property and I am going to sell it because I was promoted to my work and in the same time they gave me a new car for work and moving for my needs, so i don't have time to enjoy this bike. In conclusion, I don't need the bike for the moment and I decided, after a discussion with my wife (sometimes is very difficult to be persuasive, you know what I mean) about selling my bike, because it is sensles to keep the bike only to occupy the garage. In the above I told you I was promoted at work (extraordinary thing) but I had to move with my family in another location (we must do sacrifices all the time) and now I live in Las Vegas, NV. It hasn't been involved in any accident or anything of this type.
My final price on it is US $3500. As I know that my current situation is pretty special I want the deal closed only through eBay's Buyer Protection Program in order for you to be 100% protected. You will make the payment through eBay. I know you need a bill of sale and the original title and it will be no problem, once you receive the bike, you will receive them as well so you can register the bike on your name. You will have along with the papers that you need for the registration a bill on your name with the price.
Please get back to me asap if you decide to buy, and include in your e-mail your FULL NAME and FULL ADDRESS where you want it shipped so I can start the deal with eBay. You will receive all the transaction payment and shipping details from them.
Best Regards.
Edward Zampova

Re: Craigs Scamers are Funny....

when i was shopping for my new track bike i came across an ad for a black/maroon 06 gsxr 750 for 3500... just for the fun of it i sent her a msg asking her about it. she sent me back this big long story about how she just got divorced and doesn't need the bike and just wants it outta there... she said she would only go through paypal for 'safety' purposes for 'both' of us... said she would be happy to pay the shipping... haha. I said i'll go pick it up and hand you cash, that was the last i heard from her.
