I have definately noticed a shift in the mentality of this forum. With the explosion of new riders and people searching for answers to common questions about motorcycling it is only natuaral for them to come to a place with a large number of skilled riders who can handle those questions and have a good time doing it. This place has been a valuable resource for me over the years and i appreciate it. I think we all have to be a little tolerant of the newer people on here and serve as a sounding board for the community as a whole. Part of common sense is not interacting with people that you don't get along with. Let's all make some sense and just have a good time and help some noobs out along the way...what do ya say kids?

i'm going to go out on a limb and say that if the new(er) offending members were only looking for riding advice no one would have a problem

Agree again...I have seen very few members that joined who really got a hard time from the rest of the gang. But if they did, most likely there was a good reason behind it...and most of the time, if they stick around, they will eventually settle in just fine...all the others that get a little jab in their welcome thread, it's just in good fun!
