Now I remember what it's like to commute in MA. It's either 99 degrees, or powerwasher strength rain...

I've been real lucky over here. During normal hours it only rained for about a 1/2 hour the other day, that's the only rain I've seen so far. Now I speak too soon, since it is starting to rain at the moment...

I was out when it started raining yesterday. I forgot how much rain hurts at highway speeds without a jacket.

Yesterday was the first time it's rained at my house in 3 1/2 weeks...today I drive home from work in flooding road conditions and no power for the next 3 hours I'm going out for a beer

I've been riding to work every day since April 1. Right now I've got my gloves hanging from the suspended ceiling in front of the air vent. It's freaking people out. They keep saying they look like bats. I've got to find some slip overs for my gloves.

Doesn't it seem like gear is only water proof until it starts to rain?

Supposedly, I have a waterproof jacket, however, it holds water like a towel when it starts to rain.

My riding boots, which are made of leather and goretex, are the only waterpoof gear I have for rain.

it also reminds me that when it rains, you find the difference between those that own motorcycles and those that ride motorcycles.
