No,not really ?

My 1st ticket ever on a M/C was for Wheeling in Edgartown, Mass.( That was what was written for the violation)

20 dollars - Summer of 1983 . ( 20 mph zone )

No speeding ticket, but since he said I raised it up over the crest at a 4 way stop that I should just pay it.

P.S. May I add that I came to a complete stop looked both ways twice and proceeded with a single cylinder 500.

I was riding this model bike.

2. No wheelies. It is impossible to loft the front wheel. But, you will have hours of enjoyment trying. 45hp - how much trouble could you possible get into.

Re: What a week...

Damn dude, that does suck. Ill confirm, a motard on the street will not help....I just ride more like an idiot because its way too fun, way to easy, and I feel less stereotyped than being on a sportbike. It wont save you from any trouble, because riding down the steps in Govt Center is illegal no matter what bike you ride (and you WILL want to do it!

I no longer ride the streets any more either. I have mixed feelings since almost completely giving it up since the end of last season. I do miss going out and meeting people for a ride on days like this when its beautiful out. In fact Ive toyed the idea of buying a cheap street bike for just that reason. Problem is, when I get out and start riding fast its fun for a few minutes but all the problems of the street start going through my head. I dont enjoy sitting on the side of the road with blue lights behind me and thats what happens when Im on a bike on the street having fun. If you stick with giving it up, you will miss it, but after going out for a spritied ride after not doing it for a while, you might remember why you stopped. Just my experience

My Shadow was the answer to my license problems. You don't need speed to enjoy the ride, just nice relaxing cruise.
