been a really bad week so weds I went out for a ride to clear my mind - made it 2 mins down my street and got pulled over for doing a wheelie. state trooper then proceeded to read me my rights and arrest me. A lovely evening spent in a jail cell. thanks daytrader for bailing me out. R6 impounded. Thanks akira for the lift

Arrested you? I thought for the most part wheelie infractions got you a court date followed by some steep fines and perhaps loss of license.

i guess it was a reckless endangerment or whatever they call the criminal charge for driving like an ass is....i am sure it will get wiped in court...but holy hell what a PITA

guy wrote me up for reckless use of motor vehicle - criminal offense...

big fine... still have my liscence but i think i am going to sell the street bike... all i get is tickets for speeding, so i did a wheelie (under the speed limit -haha) and get more than a ticket for that... its no fun riding these things on the street at speed limit and i dont have the self control

enjoyment is no longer there on street

Exact reason I bougt the KTM. I wasnt having any fun with the 636 for sheer speed reasons, so I got a bike that has 50 horsepower and my love for the street has returned. Granted, I cant wheelie, so that helps me stay out of trouble too, but at least I physically CANT do triple the speed limit any more

Thats what im thinkin - I know I'll miss riding street (with Mark) but this shit is getting old and the R6 is not meant to be ridden at 35mph it just isnt comfortable. hell at about twice the legal limit it can feel slow and uncomfortable. god its beautiful though
