as i have ranted here many a time, i am not a big fan of the corporate world.. and here is a lcassic reason why... two people whom i actually considered friends here at work, were just laid off.... because "corporate" decided that there job was no longer going to exist, both of them did great work and were actually normal so i could hang out with out side of the office.

this sucks.


"corporate" laid off over 4,000 last week alone. and they aint done yet i would imagine.

Interestingly, I work for 'corporate'...and I've gone to other departments and offices to do stuff. It's very awkward to listen to them bitch about 'corporate' this and 'corporate' that...the man is keeping me down!!!!!!

if it weren't for needing that regular flow of income i would love to get outta this type of job and start my own shop... maybe doing custom stereo installs or some kinda motorcycle work... maybe even some woodwork. dont know. i dont like having 13 levels of management over my head though.

I hear that. I'd love stereo installations if I got paid for it. I hate doing it when I don't get paid.
