Nah. This is gonna be Pedro's night. He pitches best when he's pissed, and he's gonna be PISSED when he sees what kinda reception 'large body' is gonna get at Fenway. Clemens is gonna get smoked tomorrow. Mark my words....

Clemens VS. Martinez

Clemens is gonna get a very warm reception at Fenway. Regardless of where he plays his games now, he's still very much respected in New England. Not with this kid though....

It's just gonna get Pedro fired up, I tell ya...

Not really. He left Boston to get away from then manager Dan Duquette, as many players at the time did. He won a Cy Young while with Toronto, then he went to the Yankees...

He left because when he found out that he was not the highest paid pitcher anymore. He tried to get a raise through the Sox and when they wouldn't give him anymore money he jumped ship.

Clemens made it very clear that he didn't wanna play under the ownership and management at the time. A handful of players left Boston 'back then' because of the same reasoning. With Harrington (then owner) and Duquette (then G.M.), it wasn't necessarily about winning. It was about making money. Christ! Duquette was making more money than summa the players...
