Why I'm glad I'm not in IT

TECH: I can't seem to access the network from this laptop, do I need a wireless card?

ME: Yep, here you go (hands card).

TECH: I installed the card but I still can't get on the network.

ME: You might need to reboot so the computer will request an IP address, try that.

TECH: When I try to reboot, I get an error message.

(Examines computer, error message)

ME: The reason you can't access the network, and the reason you're getting an error message on reboot, is that you've wedged the wireless card into the floppy drive.

Heh, the other type of tech, she's a board tech/assembler. Excellent soldering skills, and she works right from schematic (saves us a whole lot of time right there), just not exactly computer savvy I guess
