and didn't they print up a ton of handouts people can grab at the office to bring to dealerships, group rides, stunt shows, bike nights, or any other motorcycle event.

if we want more spectator attendance its really up to the racers to help get the word out.

Probably made at the very least 300. Both dealers I went to were out of them within the week. Made em more, also ran out again. I put my garage # on them to see if people would swing by and say hello also to gauge how many showed up. Unfortunately broke myself so I wasn't around much. Anyone want it pm me. I'm bumping the thread.

Yeah, but you're increasing distance traveled and sacrificing some drive because you're pointed towards the wall a little more.
I'd rather deal with a little spinning, get the bike upright a little quicker and get back on the gas sooner.

you could hold 1a a half a second longer and then turn in half a second later into 2 and get "just the tip" and have a straighter shot down the track

yes, but the tip's pretty far away from the apex. If a rider did that in front of me, I'd def try to make a pass up the inside.

me too, but if they are getting on the gas sooner because of a straighter entry/exit then you, you could be on the losing end of that drag race

That was always my route on the motard, getting a great drive through 2, smoothing it out and standing the bike up earlier, but I haven't run the new two other than one rainy day, so what do I know.

- Continue the Motard race with jumps a couple times/yr
- The flat track races in the Legends oval was way more entertaining than the Legends cars!
- Segregate the “Current Standings” list on the timing tower for AM/EX races, so we can see actual placement of AM racers. All other uses of the tower have been great, keep them up!
- Maybe instead of (or in addition to) the countdown showing how much time is left in a race, add a “1st call” “2nd call” “3rd call” next to the countdown. Just reinforces the point to the next group of racers…and helps us for times when there may be a delay in the action (mini-breaks to bring X to the cornerworkers, or to clean up debris off the race line, etc --- all mean that just because there is 1:07 left in the current race, doesn’t mean that you should take your warmers off and get to pre-grid immediately!)
- I like your T10 suggestion; smoothing out that transition would be great.
- PA system to reach T6 grandstands.
- Lower volume or eliminate the PA system in the garages during the Legends races (I haven’t actually been at the track for a Legends race since their second weekend, so this may have been done already).

I already register online, pay online, have a transponder number, the only thing missing is dropping off the waiver form and getting a sheet to go to tech with. Maybe we would be able to sign the waiver electronically - or at least just leave it in a drop box @ registration and print out our own sheets to bring to tech? Maybe go back to having 2 lines (separate line for those who pre-registered)? Seems like just some minor changes might be able to save quite a bit of time.

I like this idea. Perhaps make it so a waiver prints as page two of the registration sheet “file”, and the rider just hands it in to the tech inspector.
