Not much to report for me...

But i heard a lot of riders from this site brought home some wood Congrats to Gordon for his first race entry AND win, nice job.. I think Heath and Derek also got a first place? good job in the rain

I went out for the second practice on Saturday morning, it was wet and cold out (43) but the rain had stopped. I didn't have rain tires and the tires that were on my bike were the ones i cooked both days down at VIR. I did 2 laps of practice at a snails pace and came back in. I could feel the front sliding a little and it didn't take much throttle to spin the rear so basically i was afraid to be out there
Things were drying up a bit before my first race though so i did get myself and the bike ready to go out. Before they even made first call for my race, the skys opened up again. It was kinda funny as it started to pour again, they announced the dry line that had formed was gone I chose to skip both my races for that day and ended up playing cards with Sean and Leah in Bob's new trailer with the heat cranking
I stayed the night again and hoped to get a couple dry practice sessions on Sunday morning... No such luck!!! It had rained all night and was still raining hard at 8am when i woke up After i got up, i packed my stuff up and hung around for a while. The rain never stopped and i went to head home about 2pm. From the 6 miles from the track to I393, it went from raining hard to sunshine and drying conditions Go figure
I hope the next 8 weekends are all dry to make up for this one
It wasn't even a good picture taking weekend

Hey Gordon, congratulations on your win!!

I guess there was a good reason why I had a tough time keeping up with you at VIR. You ride very well, I'm justglad I had the big gixxa, just so I could be sure that I could make it by you on the front stretch. Let me just tell you that it was a pissa knowing the bike you were riding was an older gen gix 6 and I'm on the big boy and I've got all I can do to keep up with you. Nicely done!!

You never know, it could happen. The way things are going with the KTM, it'll be another month or 2 before i get the rite parts to make the lights work, then another month to reorder the parts again because they were the wrong ones, not to mention KTM seems to have missplaced the original cert of origin and has to apply for a duplicate
If i thought it had comparable power, i'd do it in a hearbeat but the little bit i rode it friday evening behind the track confirmed the power output isn't even comparable to my YZ
