HEAT .......


Dam, i just went outside for a bit and im already sweating...I dont envy any of you guys that are racing this weekend....I can remember racing in this kind of heat up there, and thats one thing that i dont miss at all....

guess im just getting too old, anyways good luck to all that are racing this weekend and stay safe and kick some butt

HEAT .......


Depending on humidity - those evaporative coolers @ sams work pretty good for all you pop-up'ers. Long as you got 120v and a water supply. Just don't aim it at the bike

Im talking about throwing leathers, boots, helmet and gloves on and then go racing in this heat......but a cooler would be good for watching the races..

HEAT .......


I was sweating bullets just standing around watching them all today, I can't even imagine how hot it was in full leathers out there. Bob measured the infield road temp @ 123F so I'm sure the track was quite a bit hotter.

It's 9:45pm I just finished strapping my bikes on the trailer and I'm sweating like a pig. It's not even like I was working hard.

HEAT .......


it was hot as hell at the track today. I thought i was gonna pass out just being a spectator.


My friends dad used to race up ther ein the 70s and he was telling me that he had one race where people kept crashing b/c of heat exhaustion.... literally just passing out.

way way too hot.,, i did the GTO yesterday and thought i was going to die at the end., i have never felt like that .,

it was not pretty there this weekend...

It was hot for sure. I did the GTL race on Saturday and i hate to say things like this but i'm kinda glad they cut 10 minutes from that race
