Thursday Practice

Can some post something on the NEAR list about this Thursday's practice. Last time I did a practice after the car races the track was shit. There was oil, dirt, and none of the brake markers and a lot of the cones were missing. I don't want to go up pay the money to say "this sucks". It would be nice if someone could say the track will be fine and all set up.

I wouldn't count on it. In typical post nascrap fashion the track will be disgusting. Be VERY careful coming down the hill into 6 and through the Twist in 7/8. They park the campers up there and they all seem to leak, dump and spew shit all over the track.

It is a proven fact that there are more accidents the weekend immediately following the Nascar weekends due to poor track conditions.

I think the tire manufacturers should work on a compound to provide such traction.

Something that actually gets stickier the more it runs through oil, budweiser, hamburg grease and tabacee spit.
