End of a GREAT Season Report

This was my last race weekend for this season and I had a blast out there all summer!
This was my rookie season of racing and what a GREAT time I had!
It was tough at first because I didn't start until late June, so alot of guys I was racing against had a more familiar feel for the track and were putting down faster lap times. I think I caught up pretty quick and did well overall.
What a reality check the 600cc Novice class is as you enter Turn 1 out of the holeshot....I was intimidated the first couple of times, but that turned out to be one of my favorite parts of the race.
I was able to actually capture the holeshot on a select couple races.....otherwise I think it belonged to the holeshot hero himself.
Overall I was able to capture mostly 8th or better in most of my races and even have one of those snazzy little trophy plaques from one of my HW Superbike races.
I was able to complete my 10 races this last weekend and with a strong index I'm now qualified to move up to Amauter, if I choose to, we'll see when that happens.
I definately had a handful of close call incidents that I probably should of gone down on, but I was able to make it through the season on my bike without one crash.....I've never had a year of not crashing so thats kinda impressive to me

I got passed, as well as did alot of passing.
I traded paint with a few guys, but always came out ahead.
I saw about 10 racers go down directly in front of me throughout the season in a race, some bad enough to shake you up a little.
I definately have some good memories of battling some specific racers out there the whole race and what a thrill it was! Nothing like going balls out seeing who's gonna brake later or go harder...lap after lap. Such an intense feeling like no other.

Mostly I enjoy all the new people I met and hung out with this summer.A big thanks to Degsy and all the Team Members of Low Down Racing, you guys really helped out Jeff and I and showed us the ropes......and we definately had some great times

Everyone up there at some point helped out.
I'll be up in October showing support and helping out, but not racing my bike.
Good Times Everyone!
