Alex showed me this forum a while back & I thought I'd key you guys onto it... Members from all sanctioning bodies, contingency money info, sponsorship info, vendors, all sorts of discussions. Seems like good stuff so far.

A lot of boards make members take down links to others in the business.

I think we are OK with what we have, most of the tech talk is the same over and over.

I like the WERA board, no messing around with them.

I don't consider us one of the "other boards", at least until Jay tells me to. It's all good Petey.

WERA does not permit it though, or even talking about the formula USA business.
I like the WERA board, tough crowd, tough competition on the track too.

Two threads right there talking about the FUSA thing, and I know I was reading another one that I can't currently find.

Seems to me that Jay did pretty good riding in the WERA race.

1: Jay had never ridden that track ever
2: Jay had only been racing for 3 months
3: WERA only has 2 classes. Expert and Novice
4: Seems lots of WERA Novices's sit in that class for years
5: The winning Novices had almost the same laptimes as the winning Experts in the same classes.

As it is I think showing up and being 6 seconds off the Expert Superbike Podium is pretty friggin good.

Hey it's the offseason, I'm bored. In case you are bored. http://www.mylaps.com/results/showevent.jsp?id=83462

Thanks for the good words Alex. Add one more number that you missed to that list for Dan and I. I hate to use a word like cheap or cheater but.... Dan explained it to me, I think it started this year. If you're an expert racer and take one season off of WERA racing you can return to Novice. How screwed up is that? Not winniing, race another division for a year then come back and spank the lessers. Maybe after the races you can go hang at the local elementry school and play the 5th graders on a little one on one?

That was certainly an awesome trip with Dan and Erin. U can't wait to do it again next year.

If you look around on websites like WERA, cluib racer, and many more, I'd bet you can find a 'hessogood' in the member list. Not often will you find me over there though.

1. Wrong Jay, I was referring to the one that owns this board.

2. Read for a couple of years, right now F-usa is going down, I don't think it poses any threat and WERA probably will gain a lot of riders from this. I think Mongo looks at it like it is pertinent to them, not a competitor. Do a search and find all the posts about please don't promote other racing sanctioning bodies on that board. There was quite a discussion going on about why posters shouldn't do that.

It's all up to the business owner, here it is Jay Stonner.

Hesso, I ferquent many other moto-boards, I consider it part of my job to know what is going on, plus, I like to have active members from other boards here, It's all good.

As for WERA, I like the program a lot! It has been around a LONG time, had it's own pro division that I believe splintered off to F-usa.

They just seem to have a lot of very fast very curteous riders. The format is more rider friendly, they give more time between races. It also seemed that the management was more rider friendly, need a little extra consideration and they had no prblem helping. I raced with Jimf too, the tech stayed open just for us two-three hours later.

the times:

they can be misleading, not to detract from hessogodamnfast, but the tracks (Beaverun and Nelson's) were short and high speed, not much gap.

I think next year is Jay Holland's year. If he can stay in front of the old man!

I know they are two different track and two different times. I was more looking at the Top Expert times and comparing them to the Top Am/Novice times.

I knew that it was a different Jay too

Oh yea. I've spend the last few months surfing the gossip on a bunch of different organizations. All I know is I'm damn glad I race for LRRS (which really can't be considered the same as the rest of CCS). Laptimes. Free Transponders. Strong fields. Custom classes (protwins). Good advancement system. etc etc. Now if we could only get some runoff room (that said, WERA seems like they run a solid show)
