Yes you can start as a AM, send in your license renewal (you should have already done this) and circle the AM and not the NOV, they will confirm if you meet the requirements. BTW you have until tomorrow to reserve last years number

Does this mean the numbers will be determined tomorrow? If so will they be posted? Sorry for the rookie questions

Some have been posted somewhere but I can't remember where I saw it? Maybe on the NEAR list? Give them a week or 2 after the deadline (today) and it should be posted on the lrrs site

60% chance at best. I didn't get one in '03 but got 2 in '05

Is that so?

I called and talked to them 5 times, and was promised each time and never got mine.

Hard to say. I personally prefer to buy my firewood in the spring, cut & split. I stack it as soon as possible so that *I* know that it's dried to my liking. Due to people realizing and practicing gouging practices though, many won't deliver 'til the fall so that they can demand top dollar. In NH, the Dep't of Agriculture actually mandates that if they advertise DRY *cordwood* that it must contain no more than 40% moisture content and must measure 4 x 4 x 8' (128") under a suprisingly harsh penalty...

The best firewood/cordwood I've ever gotten was when I downed my own, cut it myself and split it myself. Then ya know how dry it is, you're gauranteed hardwood and ya get to cut it & split it to a usable size for your application...

I'll be getting all 4 cord from my father inlaws property this spring. Mebbe sooner if I can find the time off...

ok. after the insightful and yet still extremly helpful post by stoner.... i sent in my forms with the AM box checked but i think i just shot myself in the foot as now most of my eligable (competative) races will be on Sat..... a day the there is NO WAY i can get off at work. so now i may have seriously fucked myself. racing or a job. well cant race without a job (unless your chad) so i might have to make a phone call to LRRS and change back to NV. which really sucks because that means NO $$$$$ from sponsers
what else am i to do?

Sunday:

Supertwins
LW Superbike

If I could be competitive in both... you should be even more so on your modern bike (SV650).

Also: "Any Novice rider that has the minimum number of races and an index of .750 or better will be AUTOMATICALLY advanced for the following year"

No sandbagging.

i dont think my index is that high but they havent updated it.

i DO plan on moving to AZ but i have alot of shit to take care of here before i can go. these things may mean that im here for part of/ all of the race season. either way i needed to renew my license anyway. so i did. you just dont want me in NV with you because that means you wont win at best youll be the first loser
